Silos and regions
Approximately 30% of South Africa’s total summer maize, sunflower, sorghum and Soya beans and winter grain wheat and barley yield is handled by our network of silos. The objective is to receive grain and oil seeds from producers, to handle it and to store it safely.
Infrastructure and services
- 70 grain silos, bunkers and transit ports with a combined intake tempo of approximately 15 000 tons per hour.
- Storage capacity of 4,8 million tons.
- 41 kilns.
- Grain cleaning machinery.
- Fumigation facilities.
- Unloading of bulk or bagged grain that have been transported via road or railway.
