Senwes is registered as Food Business Operator with the National Department of Agriculture. Standards and procedures have been introduced at all Senwes silos in accordance with South African Good Management Practice. It includes safety, health and environmental quality innovations that Senwes, as a grain operations manager, puts into practice to improve safety and efficiency.

HACCP is a food safety system that focuses on prevention rather than end-product testing.
