Since the deregulation of agriculture in the nineties, Senwes has been actively involved in grain marketing. Grain Marketing has distinguished itself by becoming the first organisation to facilitate back-to-back sunflower contracts in the free market system.

Senwes is also the first agricultural organisation to buy a seat on the South African Futures Exchange (SAFEX).

Grain Marketing offers a variety of services to a diverse clientele which, among others, include grain producers, millers, livestock feed producers, domestic and international dealers, as well as financial and statutory institutions.
