Senwes, an agricultural organisation, has been at the forefront of South African agricultural business for more than a century. The company has interest in the Free State, North West and Gauteng.
About the programme
The Senwes Graduate Programme provides opportunity for talented graduates to develop themselves into the future leaders of the company.
This one year programme offers the opportunity for learning and development through a structured rotational and specialised development programme as well as exposure to mentoring by successful leaders in the work environment.
Overview of Business Areas
As a graduate, you will have the opportunity to gain insight and work experience in the following departments:
Senwes Corporate
Senwes Corporate consists of the following support services for the Senwes Group: Marketing Communication and Events, Finance, Law, Information Technology, Agricultural Services and Human Resources.
Senwes Grainlink
Senwes Grainlink is the grain industry’s first choice when it comes to the handling, storage and marketing of grain for its clients. Senwes Grainlink conveniently offers all the services in the grain production chain under one roof.
Senwes Village
Senwes Village is your one-stop agricultural, outdoor and farming mechanisation provider, offering specialised, holistic, professional service and product ranges of the highest quality.
Senwes Credit
Senwes Credit offers first-rate credit facilities, excellent service, business solutions and extensive industry knowledge to grain producers.
Programme Structure
A formal, theoretical graduate training programme will be presented by accredited providers.
All graduates will have allocated mentors within their respective divisions.
Upon completion, Senwes will decide on permanent placement or termination.
Training and Development
Senwes is committed to life long learning through a variety of training initiatives. Throughout this programme a combination of formal and on-the-job training will broaden and develop your capabilities.
This includes:
- An induction that provides an introduction to Senwes and an overview of the programme;
- The opportunity to engage in a resource project; and
- A formal leadership training programme in partnership with USB (ED).
