As part of Senwes’s centenary celebrations, a limited edition red Jerepiko wine has been released – only 5 000 bottles will be for sale. This commemorative wine is a symbol of Senwes’s turning 100 years old and similar to a good red wine, time has cultivated quality. My Land – Special Centenary DVD

My land is a pensive insight into the soul of South African society of the last hundred years. The theme is universal but addresses certain sociological issues that are inherent of our complex agriculture industry. One example is the often-forgotten issues relating to language of earlier years. From the variety of European languages (such as Dutch, German, French and English) to the indigenous languages; for many decades we simply could not understand each other.

Helena Hettema and Thean Kotze’s rendition of the lyrics is a masterpiece. The music was magnificently composed by the highly rated Johan Laas – one of South Africa’s most famous musicians.

The Senwes story spans 100 years and is characterised by the challenges and milestones that crossed Senwes’s path. This exclusive coffee table book tells Senwes’s tale in a captivating manner that will keep you curious and reading.

This hardcover book is aesthetically pleasing and would be an outstanding addition to any book case. These books are also only available in limited edition. Professor Elize van Eeden, a historian from the North-West University, scrupulously researched the book’s content and it is historically accurate.

The book will be launched during a special event in August 2009 where after copies will be for sale at all Senwes Villages.
